Your valuable contributions to La Martiniere College and us as individuals will forever be remembered. Thank you for being an inspiration to all, young and old. Throughout your time with us, you’ve worked so hard to provide us with all the resources we need to succeed; you’ve always been there to help and give useful advice. We have spent many wonderful years together; however, now we must bid you adieu as you move on to the next great adventure in your career.

Words cannot express how heartbroken we were when we heard that you were leaving. You have been an inspiration to all of us and a mentor that we always look up to. It’s been a great pleasure to be a part of your success.

You are a pillar of strength and knowledge. If there were more people like you, the world would be a much better place. We are who we are today in no small part thanks to your efforts as a leader.

You used to tell us, “No person can be a great leader unless he takes genuine joy in the success of those under him.” Sir, leaders like you are few and far between. The knowledge, resourcefulness, and vision you have imparted to us is a treasure that will remain in our hearts forever, and we promise to pass this wisdom on to future colleagues. I speak for everyone when I say that I hope to follow in your footsteps on the path to greatness.

On behalf of my colleagues, I wish you all the best in your future endeavors. We will truly miss you.

A tattered blanket Tattered (torn) blanket is written by Kamala Das (Madhavi Kutty was her pen name) an Indian author. This story was written in Malayalam and later was translated by KM Sheriff.  From her childhood she was interested in writing poems and short stories. Every morning I wake

Stanza 1: Every morning when I wake, Dear Lord, a little prayer I make, O please do keep Thy loving eye On all poor creatures born to die The speaker is praying to God to love and keep the eyes on all living creatures eternally in this stanza. He prays to God not only for his personal protection but also for the protection of all poor creatures in the world between their birth and death. (In this stanza, the speaker is pleading with God to continue to cherish and watch over all living things forever. In addition to asking God for protection for himself, he also asks him to protect all the helpless things in the world from conception to natural death.)
